Editors' Achievement Award
This award is given by tthe editors of Modern Drummer in recognition of outstanding contribution to the drum / percussion community by a performer, author, educator, manufacturer, etc. The persons so honored may be notable figures in drumming history or active participants on today's scene. The criteria for this award is the value of the contribution(s) made by the honorees, in terms of influence on subsequent musical styles, educational methods, or products.
