MRP Custom Drums / MRP EdgeWorks News05/02 Hi!, I just thought I'd drop you a quick hello and let you know what's happening around here in the MRP Camp. Building some KILLER drum kits and snares these days as well as improving the sound of other drums with our EdgeWorks service. If you happen to catch the band Phantom Planet out on the road for the next few weeks be sure to catch Actor/Drummer Jason Schwartzman playing one of our Performer Series kits in a Tequila Sunrise Finish. You can hear them all over the radio these days with their hit single "California".The band is also gearing up for a major tour with Incubus this Summer. MRP Bass Drums are now fitted with High-strength, Low Mass Bass Drum Spurs. The reasoning behind my decision is because the production costs of the MRP Bass Drum Suspension System has become more and more costly and........Basically, I didn't want to raise the cost of the bass drum for my Artists! Of course, we'll still have them available for our drums except now the Suspension will now be a $150 option with your bass drum order. They are also available for to improve and enhance the sound of ANY bass drum from ANY other drum company for $150.
