MRP Phosphor Bronze Snare / MRP Endorser News01/02 Hey Hey Hey!, I certainly hope you're enjoying your Holidays! I have to let you know about some new things we just introduced as well as some new faces joining the MRP Family. It started with the Stainless Steel Snare Drum which has earned the highest raves reviews and compliments from our Artists. Now MRP's Innovative Craftsmanship has once again led to the creation of a Truly cutting edge addition to our line of metal snare drums. We proudly introduce our NEW Phosphor Bronze Snare Drum! This particular alloy which I painstakingly invested 11 months of research and sound development produces the same massive cutting power and projection as the Stainless Steel Snare. However, it has a warmer low-to-midrange fundamental note due to the same shell construction as the Stainless but with a considerably thinner shell We debuted this drum at the PASIC Show in Nashville and the ooohs and ahhs were flattering and plentiful but we included one more special touch to the drum that has never been seen on a snare drum anywhere................... Being a Truly Custom Drum Company always on the leading edge of making Great sounding drums and VERY special drums for our Artists, We embraced the most advanced technology available to us-Laser! Yes, The MRP Logo is actually lasered in to the side of the drum which also acts as the air vent for the drum! This snare of which any size can be built does have a 9 week lead time and a guideline for cost is- 5 1/2''x14''-$1695 5 1/2''x13''-$1595 In Endorser News- Danny Schuler from Biohazard has joined the MRP Family and you can see his EXTREMELY cool Mirrored Diamond Plate Finish Drum Kit in Modern Drummer Magazine's Feb. 2002 issue! Shane Vegis - of Mercy River-The Winner of 2000 Garageband Search has also joined MRP Drums and is presently finishing up in the studio getting ready for their exciting new release in 2002 ! Finally-On a very personal note, I'm happy to announce and proud to congratulate one of MRP's very own-Artist Relations Manager, Anthony Citrinite, (Yes, the cat you see on the MRP Website!) as he will be performing at the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Day (in front of 78,000 people)! with his Phosphor Bronze Snare with the legendary musical group, Boston!!!!!!! From all of here to you........... A Very Happy and Healthy New Year, Mark Ross MRP Custom Drums/MRP Edge Works |
