A tour de force by one of the world's most accomplished drummers, covering every aspect of hand and foot technique, as well as a history of the primary drum set pulse in U.S. music, with band examples featuring Vital Information.

Coming in October: John Blackwell Jr.: "Pocketman: Technique, Grooving and Showmanship" on DVD and VHS. Featuring John's incredible performance at Modern Drummer Festival 2002 as well as studio footage where John demonstrates how to develop a groove, with help from bassist Baron Browne.
