Notes from the Grand School of Music05/01 Word is spreading fast about The Grand School of Music. Here's a look at some of the great programs the school has in store for the upcoming months: Enrollment has begun for the school's first Master Class. "Introduction to Music Theory" is the first in a three-part series geared toward the fundamentals and science behind music. The first class began in January for a 10-week session. "Intermediate Theory" and "Advanced Theory" sessions will follow in the spring and summer of 2001. Reserve your spot! Sign up now. The Grand School of Music is proud to offer the Music Together program. Designed to help children younger than 5 explore and discover music, it teaches both children and parents how to develop a child's musical needs in the home. Call for information about availability. The Grand School of Music is dedicated to offering the most comprehensive musical instruction and experience for children and adults alike. Lesson times are filling up fast. The school accepts students from age 9 through retirement. Instruction is available for a number of musical instruments including guitar, bass, drums, percussion, piano, and keyboards, along with special workshops on midi and electronic music. Tuition is based on the number of classes taken, and the level of personal instruction scheduled. Tuition assistance is available.
